When businesses go the extra mile …

Tibbles 2011-2016

Article and photo by Terri Wiebold

I would like to offer my most heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff at Castle Pines Veterinary Clinic for the care and compassion they showed my daughter’s pet guinea pig Tibbles, who died last month from pneumonia.

Tibbles’ passing was a surprise to our entire family and we did not know when we dropped her off for treatment that we would never see her again.  My daughter was saddened by her lack of closure and asked if she could see and hold Tibbles again.  While she ultimately decided that would not be best, my daughter’s heart was lifted when we went to pick up Tibbles’ empty basket from the vet and inside found a beautiful ceramic casting of Tibbles’ paw print.  It was tied to a colorful ribbon, which is now lovingly displayed in my daughter’s room, bringing her the perfect closure she needed.  The icing on the cake was when we received a personalized sympathy card in the mail at our home from Castle Pines Veterinary Clinic, signed by the entire staff.

Thank you Dr. Jack Vickers and the entire staff at Castle Pines Veterinary Clinic for going the extra mile and for caring about your customers!
