Vet clinic shares animal-human philosophy at ribbon cutting
Dr. Jay and Gina Brekke have jumped in with both feet and are already making a difference in the Castle Pines community. On this recent “house call” to SmartLife Audio Video in The Village, Dr. Jay examined Cody after a frantic call from the business owner who was concerned about the Labrador Retriever. All are happy to report that Cody is fine and back to chilling in the store.

Dr. Jay and Gina Brekke, owners of Brekke Veterinary Clinic welcomed dozens of Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce members, friends, and family members at their grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration.
Guests were given tours of the new clinic and took turns cuddling the Brekke’s lovable dogs, Joey and Gemma. During the event, the Brekkes shared their practice’s philosophy, referred to as “biophilia,” which describes a love of life and the living world, suggesting that there is an instinctive bond between human beings and other living systems.
Brekke Veterinary Clinic is located at 856 W. Happy Canyon Road, Suite 120, in The Village at Castle Pines.
