U.S. Post Office holiday mailing deadlines

The mailing deadlines for United States Postal Service (USPS) parcels to arrive in the continental U.S. by Monday, December 25 are the following:

  • Saturday, December 16 for USPS Ground Advantage
  • Monday, December 18 for Priority Mail
  • Wednesday, December 20 for Priority Mail Express
  • The last scheduled date for delivery is Saturday, December 23.  Monday, December 25 is a federal holiday.
  • For Alaska and Hawaii, APO addresses and international addresses, more time is advised.
  • For first class mail, the earlier the better: Monday, December 18 is encouraged.
