Two restaurants expand into Lone Tree

Boasting crispy fried green tomatoes, Memphis–style spare ribs, jambalaya, shrimp, po’ boys, and bourbon bread pudding, Southern Hospitality is opening its second Colorado restaurant at 7431 Park Meadows Drive in Lone Tree, the former site of Pasquini’s Pizzeria. Currently planned to open in May, the eatery serves up fresh, high-quality southern-style food, trendy micro-brews, and specialty bourbons.
The former TGI Friday’s located at Yosemite Street and County Line Road is currently being transformed into a Hooters restaurant. Slated to open this summer, an exact date has not yet been announced.
The restaurant will have a new interior and exterior design more in tune with the area but will still feature sports on large flat screens, music, and a menu that includes seafood, sandwiches, burgers, salads, and of course, Hooters original chicken wings. A “healthier” menu is also planned. Hooters is targeting more upscale markets, and the restaurant aims to attract a wider variety of customers.
Lone Tree Mayor Jim Gunning noted, “It’s wonderful to see our list of dining options grow with the addition of Southern Hospitality and Hooters in Lone Tree. We welcome these new businesses to the city and wish them great success as new members of the community.”
“We are pleased to welcome Hooters and Southern Hospitality into our business community,” said Economic Development Director Jeff Holwell. “Both groups have chosen prominent yet vacant retail sites and we appreciate the renovations and investments made by these restaurants in Lone Tree.”
