Turkeys
Castle Pines residents Kathi Mercer (pictured in hat) and Jean Givin (not pictured) sponsored a frozen turkey drive to benefit the Denver Rescue Mission’s effort to collect 15,000 turkeys to distribute to needy families and individuals across the Denver area. Thanks to the generosity of many Castle Pines neighbors and friends, Mercer and Givin collected approximately 70 turkeys and numerous cases of Ensure. (Caption and photo by Amy Shanahan)
