TTE ranked in top 25 metro-area schools

5280 Magazine has named a Castle Pines area school as one of the best in the Denver area. Twenty-five public elementary schools in a one-county radius of Denver were chosen based on levels of academic proficiency in math, reading, writing and “growth.” Growth is defined as helping students catch up with, keep up with or surpass their expected grade levels.

Timber Trail Elementary (TTE) School was recognized by the magazine for winning the John Irwin Award three times and for its Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) program, in which fathers donate time to the school.

“This honor is a direct reflection of the pride, dedication, and hard work of the TTE staff and students,” said Michelle Radke, Principal at TTE. “We also recognize that this achievement would not be possible without the tremendous amount of support we receive from our parents and community.”
