Timber Trail Heads Back to School
Timber Trail Elementary will head back to the classroom Monday, August 15. New homes are still being built and new students are still arriving in Timber Trail’s boundaries. With these factors, there was consideration of switching the school to the four track year-round calendar. However, the opening of American Academy, the new charter school, and the decision to move sixth graders to Rocky Heights Middle School allowed Timber Trail to remain on a traditional calendar for the 2005-2006 school year.

Taste of Timber Trail Planned for August
On Saturday, August 27, from 11am until 3pm the grounds of Timber Trail Elementary will transform into a midway carnival. Bounce houses, numerous carnival games, a dunk tank and a cake walk will make this a community event to attend. Bring an appetite to sample from one or more of the many food vendors participating.
The staff of Timber Trail and its parent group Timber Trail Educational Alliance, TTEA will host this second annual community event. All proceeds will help support Timber Trail, including the library and science program. To help with parking, a shuttle bus will run from Buffalo Ridge Elementary to the carnival site.
For more information about this event contact Timber Trail Elementary at (303)387-5700 or check out their website at www.dcsd.k12.co.us/elementary/tte.
