Three-peat for Valor girls golf team

Being the best is never easy, especially claiming the top spot three years in a row. But that is exactly what the Valor Christian High School girls golf team recently did as they wrapped up the 2024 season. Claiming the title of 5A State Champs at the Broadlands Golf Course at the end of the school year, the Lady Eagles won by an impressive 25 strokes.

“These young women are a wonderful representation of our hopes to play team golf for something bigger than ourselves – honoring God and their teammates as well as those they compete against,” said Coach Justen Byler. “Certainly, we have a desire to compete at a high level, but the girls continue to recognize the blessings and results, byproducts of playing with a selfless, grateful approach to the game.”

Two golfers on the winning team live in Castle Pines: senior Isabella Hidalgo and freshman Ella Scott.
