Three Elected to CPN Metro District Board

CPN voters went to the polls on May 4th to elect Board Members to the Metro District.

Congratulations to the newly elected Metro District board members: Courtney Brand, Cheryl McDade and Mark Shively. The newly elected members will join current Metro District Board Members Gaylen Crowder, and John Ewing.

“We had a good turnout on election day,” said Janet Burnham, Election Official for the CPN Metro District. “The presence of the South Metro Firefighters on Castle Pines Parkway really had an impact in our voter turn out.”

According to Douglas County records, CPN currently has 4,551 registered voters. Approximately nine percent of CPN homeowners took time to vote on May 4th.

“Compared to our neighbors in Highlands Ranch, the turnout in our community was quite high,” said Master Association President Linda Nuzum. “Highlands Ranch, which is more than ten times the size of CPN, only had 754 total votes on election day.”
