The Happy Crew and Kākou Coffee House

The Village at Castle Pines residents Liz and Brian Van Vechten opened their home last month to host a fundraiser for Happy Crew, an organization dedicated to destigmatizing mental health issues for teens by creating community and sharing the message: You matter. You belong.
“We firmly believe that Kākou Coffee House would provide a safe place for teens to gather, share their anxieties, and have access to professional counseling,” shared the Van Vechtens in their hosts’ message. “We thank you for your support of The Happy Crew and your generous donations to help make Kākou Coffee House a reality.”
