The CPN Master Association Bids Farewell to Janet Conner
Janet Conner
by Terri Wiebold
The Castle Pines North (CPN) community has lost one of its most ardent advocates. Janet Conner and her husband Keith have moved from CPN.
In the past several years, Janet was very involved in the CPN community, especially the area of public safety. Until her move in mid-September, she was on the board of directors for the Castle Pines North Master Association.
Conner was also the Master Association Safety Committee chairperson, the team leader for the Voting Coordination Team for the upcoming incorporation election, and the Master Association’s Emergency Preparedness Task Force liaison with Douglas County.
She was also a former board member for the BristleCone Patio Homeowner’s Association (HOA), and she remains the community manager for that HOA.
Conner seemed most passionate about her fire safety-related work with South Metro Fire Rescue and said she will still have a “vested interest” in seeing station 43 built in CPN. Conner has made a lasting and significant contribution to the CPN community and she will not soon be forgotten.
