The Canyons expansion plans
Preliminary plans will soon be submitted for an expansion of The Canyons development in the southeast portion of the city. The proposed development encompasses approximately 1,618 residential lots, along with designated areas for future expansion, a school site, a regional park site, and ample open spaces, trails and road connections linking to surrounding neighborhoods.
The new development represents a significant expansion of residential opportunities in Castle Pines, catering to the growing demand for housing in the region. The location of the future site is located directly southeast of where Canyonside Boulevard currently ends.
The development is led by Shea Homes, Tri Pointe Homes and Infinity Properties. Submission of preliminary development plans is one of the first steps in seeking approval to begin construction.
