The age of possibility, it is more than your face
Derek, Grey and Elle Leary left the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles for the more relaxed lifestyle in the City of Castle Pines.
As the owner of new business Hardwear Beauty (HB), Elle Leary could not imagine doing anything else other than helping clients bring forth their inner beauty with facial treatments. HB is co-sharing space at Remedy Bar off Lagae Road and Castle Pines Parkway and recently celebrated its official grand opening on May 8.
“It sounds cliché, but I love what I do because it is about making my clients feel their best. It is more than your face,” Elle explained. Having worked in the beauty scene in Los Angeles filled with Hollywood stars and red-carpet events for more than 15 years, Elle was excited to open HB in her new community.
With her experience, Elle wanted to diversify her skill set beyond make up. Her goal is to elevate skin and face routines by educating clients on holistic skincare as well as ways to prevent skin damage. When the opportunity arose to collaborate with then-customer Jaime McNitt, owner of Remedy Bar, Elle knew she could not pass up merging their talents to bring these beauty services to the community, including unique facials and spray tan services.
Skincare is not just for women – some of HB’s most loyal customers are men. Elle says men love learning about skin care and facial routines and are open to suggestions and products.
The product line Elle uses is Korean-inspired as she believes Korean products aim to help build the moisture barrier against aging and sun damage due in part to living here in Colorado. Elle added that people often have a misconception of facials; it is not about just looking younger, but facials help maintain healthy skin. HB also offers liquid microneedling and facial peels.
Born in San Diego, California, and relocating to the City of Castle Pines for her husband Derek’s job, Elle relishes life outside the fast lane. Her daughter, Grey, attends American Academy.
