The 22nd Annual Denver Runnin’ of the Green

Members from the Castle Pines community braved the chilly temperatures and even a little snow to support the 22nd Annual Denver Runnin’ of the Green.
Proceeds from the event are used by the Volunteers of America to help the very young, the homebound elderly, and women and children who are victims of domestic violence. Race participants chose either a 7K run, 7K walk, or a 2.2 mile walk. While running and walking the streets of lower downtown Denver, racers were treated to live Irish music and Irish cloggers.
