Ready, set, go at the 2016 Memorial Day Run & March.

Race, run, ruck, walk or roll at the 2017 Memorial Day Run & March 5K, 10K and 30K runs on Saturday, May 27 starting at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The entire community of families, friends, individuals groups, veterans and uniformed military are invited to challenge themselves in friendly competition, while helping feed homeless veterans.
To register for the race, visit www.memorialdaymarch.com. Participants who register online will receive an exclusive Memorial Day Run & March T-shirt, finisher medal, timing bib and race bag.
Registration the day of the race opens at 7 a.m. The presentation of the colors and national anthem will be at 7:45 a.m. followed by opening remarks and a prayer. Races will start at five minute intervals starting at 8 a.m. All routes are on paved surfaces and are stroller friendly.

Please bring dry goods to help fill up the donation truck that will be on hand. All the food collected helps feed local homeless veterans. This year the donations will go to the Warrior Warehouse & Redistribution Center.
One-hundred percent of the registration fee helps the Colorado Veterans Project to continue to host special events in order to raise awareness and funds for local veterans and veterans organizations. Their mission is to enhance pride and patriotism in Coloradans by building a stronger, more supportive community around all veterans.
There will be vendors before, after and during the run and the march. Food and snacks will be available for participants.
