Summer league champions

The Castle Pines Athletics NFL flag football program wrapped up its summer season on the turf of Elk Ridge Park. Coach Ryan Shannon set a record in league history: all three of his own kids were each on one of the winning Super Bowl teams.
“I have really enjoyed coaching my kids’ teams and getting to know other families in the community. It was great to have all three kids playing flag football this summer. I would take them all outside to practice passing, and it was great for all three kids to have some success and see all their hard work pay off,” he stated.
The fall flag football season runs from August 19 through October 6. Spring registration opens January 1, 2025, with the season beginning June 7. For more information visit castlepinesathletics.com.
