Summer camps are calling

Summer is in sight, so now is the time to help your kids blossom by signing up for camps. Whether it is one day, one week or more, kids love exploring during the downtime of summer. Here are a few fun options, but remember, where there is one, there are many. Enjoy.

Audience of One

Camp Galileo

Join Camp Galileo for an exciting summer of mind-bending STEAM projects and camp traditions for kindergarten through eighth graders. Camps will be held at SkyView Academy in Highlands Ranch and Renaissance Montessori Academy in Parker. www.galileo-camps.com

Castle Rock Recreation Center

Code Ninjas

Do your kids love technology? Code Ninjas, in Castle Rock, has camps that are sure to tech skills and foster friendships. Highlands Ranch Community Association

Highlands Ranch Community Association always has abundant offerings at its four locations. Infinite Dance

Lavner Education

As seen on Good Morning America, Lavner Education boasts STEM camps in robotics, coding, game design, Minecraft, Roblox, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, content creation for YouTube, film making, digital art, spy tech, medicine and more. Camps are planned for Auraria Higher Education Center in Denver and Colorado School of Mines in Golden for kids ages 6 to 14, from June 10 to August 16. www.lavnercampsandprograms.com.

 

Lutheran High School

Lutheran youth summer programs are designed to nurture and develop natural talents, give new skills and develop passions. Parker Arts Summer Camps

Parker Parks and Recreation

Performing Arts Academy

Preschoolers through twelfth graders can join the Performing Arts Academy in Highlands Ranch for acting, dance, voice and show camps this summer. www.paacolorado.org/theatre-summer-camp.

Rapids Castle Rock Youth Soccer

Rapids Youth Soccer will offer camps in June and July in Castle Rock as well as other locations. From goalkeeping and attacking to crossing and finishing, these camps will give players focus on specific areas of the game. SnoBahn

Conveniently located in Centennial in the Streets at SouthGlenn, SnoBahn offers indoor ski and snowboard camps which include an in-depth exploration of ski and snowboard technique and movement. Camp sessions run from the end of May through mid August, Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for ages 5 to 13. Note: Snowboarding is for ages 8 and older only. www.snobahn.com.

Soccer Buddies

Soccer Buddies will host soccer camps in July from 9 a.m. to noon for ages 4 to 12. Nearby locations include July 8-12 at Dove Valley Park in Englewood; July 15-19 at Prairie Sky Park in Lone Tree; and July 15-19 at Centennial Park in Castle Rock. www.coloradosoccerbuddies.com.

 

South Suburban Parks and Recreation

Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures

Let the adventure begin! Just to the south in Larkspur, Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures awaits. Day camps for ages 6 to 9 and overnight camps for ages 9 to 15 include more than 30 daily activities to choose from on 99 acres in the beautiful Rampart Range. www.stonecanyonedge.org/summercamp.
