St. Francis of Assisi to host Oktoberfest open house
St. Francis of Assisi’s new church sanctuary will be open to the public on September 30 and October 1.

St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Castle Rock will be hosting an Oktoberfest Open House for the public on Friday, September 30, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, October 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., to mark the opening of the church’s new sanctuary.
The church is located at 2746 Fifth Street in Castle Rock. The new building was ten years in the planning and has architectural features of stone, wood, and metal, along with views of the Front Range and Pikes Peak.
Attendees are welcome to tour the church/new sanctuary and enjoy live music. The Knights of Columbus and the Hispanic Ministry will be serving traditional favorite foods for purchase beside the Beer Garden. Homemade salsa, jam, BBQ sauce, and baked goods will also be available for purchase. In addition, the church will be holding a raffle for a new 2012 Vespa Scooter and/or one of several gift baskets.
