Don’t delay … now is the time to register for spring sports and activities. Below is a quick reference guide to some of the most popular leagues and recreational activities around.

Castle Pines Athletics

This spring, Castle Pines Athletics will offer co-ed recreational soccer along with two new programs – competitive/developmental soccer for girls, and competitive/developmental baseball for boys. The two new programs, designed for third and fourth graders, will be a “step-up” from the regular recreational programs offered by Castle Pines Athletics. The soccer program will continue for children ages preschool to second grade and kicks off the last week in March. Spaces in the program are limited, so sign up now. Castle Rock Recreation Center

Castle Rock Recreation Center offers a variety of sports and activities. For more information or to register, visit www.crgov.com and click on “program details and registration.”

Colorado Storm of Castle Rock

Colorado Storm offers recreational and competitive soccer leagues in Castle Rock. Spring registration is underway. Visit www.coloradostorm.com for more information or to register.

Cougars Lacrosse

Cougars Lacrosse offers spring lacrosse teams for both boys and girls. Registration runs through January 15. Visit www.cougarslax.com for details.

Douglas County Dolphins Youth Athletic Club

DC Dolphins Youth Athletics offers volleyball, baseball, cheerleading, softball and more.

Volleyball registration runs through January 7 (late registration is available from January 8 to January 15).

Early bird baseball registration ends on January 2, but regular registration takes place January 3 through January 31 (late registration will be available from February 1 – 14).

Cheer registration will open February 1.

Football registration will open April 1.

Softball registration will open May 1.

Lone Tree Recreation Center

Real Colorado

Real Colorado offers youth recreational and competitive soccer leagues, as well as adult soccer leagues. Spring soccer early bird registration runs through January 15. Returning players must register by this date to receive priority for returning to former team and to receive the discounted fee. Visit www.realcolorado.net for more information or to register.

Safe Splash Swim School

Get ready for summer! Safe Splash Swim School is a year-round warm water swim school for ages six months and older. Parent-tot lessons are available, too. For information and to register for lessons, visit www.safesplash.com.

Sports Complex at Inverness

Register for South Metro Youth Volleyball at the Sports Complex in Inverness. Divisions are available for ages seven to seventeen. Registration for the six-week spring session opens on January 15 and runs through February 12. Matches begin on March 5. For more information, visit
