Spring football games

NFL Hall-of-Famer Deion Sanders, known as Coach Prime, has landed in Colorado with great fanfare and the CU – Boulder faithful are energized for a new era and what could be a promising football program. On April 22, despite a cold and snowy day, a sold-out Folsom Field gathered to watch the black and gold teammates scrimmage each other and to see Coach Prime’s recruits and game plans. Sanders left Jackson State University winning the Southwest Athletic Conference championship game after a 12-0 season.

CSU also had its spring game on April 22. Sophomore Vann Schield plays running back for the Rams and received MVP after the game. Pictured left to right: Vann Schield, Trent Schield and Levi Schield.
