Susan Elizabeth Lee, president and founder of the Sock it to ‘em sock campaign delivered more than 800 pairs of socks to Katie Jones with Clothes for Kids of Denver last February.  This past year the campaign collected nearly 15,000 pairs of socks and delivered them to sixteen locations from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs.

Mayor Hancock as well as the Mayor’s Caucus have once again proclaimed the second Wednesday in December (December 9) as Sock it to ‘em Work Day which is a day to simply forgo wearing socks to appreciate why socks are the number one clothing need of the homeless.  Please consider donating socks to the campaign up until December 31 at MiYO in Castle Pines Village and Leading Edge Physical Therapy on Lagae Road (near King Soopers).
