Firefighter Brian Kopp tragically lost his life in an avalanche in 2008 and to help his family, the 2164 Foundation held the first Brian Kopp Memorial Golf Tournament in 2009. It was so successful that the 2164 Foundation is holding the event again to help the families of fallen firefighters. The foundation also helps these children with funding of their college education.

The 2164 Foundation is a 501c3 charitable foundation and is the fundraising extension of the South Metro Professional Firefighters. For more information, go to www.smfr.org.
