After a record of nearly 170,000 votes — more than double last year’s tally — the results are in for Soliant Health’s 4th annual list of the 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in America. For the first time, Sky Ridge Medical Center made the list and was ranked #18 after receiving 2,122 votes. Sky Ridge joined an elite list of hospitals which stretch from Washington to Florida. Soliant Health, one of the largest healthcare staffing companies in the country, noted that Sky Ridge is, “Perhaps the most beautiful hospital against the surrounding terrain: This modest outpost facility sits, seemingly alone, on a majestic patch of Colorado prairie.”
“Sky Ridge strives to go beyond expectations for our patients and their families every day,” said Maureen Tarrant, CEO of Sky Ridge. “Being recognized by Soliant Health is a testament of our commitment to providing nurturing surroundings that aid with healing.”
Built in 2003, Sky Ridge was Douglas County’s first hospital. The hospital offers the latest in medical technology in a soothing, comfortable environment to provide patients with outstanding care and greater peace of mind. From the private rooms to the healing garden, Sky Ridge offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the mind, body and spirit.
