Seeking volunteers!
Douglas County Community Foundation is seeking volunteers to help further its mission to responsibly manage philanthropic contributions, maintain agile funds for emergencies, inspire generosity and provide support to local nonprofits serving the needs within our community.
Although the nonprofit has been around nearly two decades, its restructuring in 2021 injected new energy into the organization, and it has accomplished amazing things in 2022 – raising funds and awareness, and granting more than $300,000 to Douglas County nonprofits.
Become part of the team that plans and executes fundraising events (see recent gala on page 21) or help vet nonprofits and be a part of the selection process for grant recipients. If your super power is relationship building, join in connecting potential donors with corporate partners to leverage contribution dollars for maximum impact – it’s the reason why donors give to DCCF instead of giving directly to their favorite nonprofits. DCCF is the force multiplier that makes the most of your charitable dollars.
