Seasons “Greenings” Available in CPN

by Lisa Crockett

No need to leave Castle Pines North (CPN) this holiday season for beautiful fresh cut Christmas trees.

The Ridge Golf Course is teaming up with Sedalia Nursery to offer the CPN community Christmas trees that will benefit both a local charity and the environment. Trees went on sale on Friday, November 28.

“In addition to conventionally-cut trees, we’re offering live Christmas trees which can be re-planted after the holiday,” said Ridge General Manager, Mike Henritze. “Part of the proceeds will go to the Salvation Army.”

The Ridge will offer delivery of trees (for an additional fee). In addition, live-tree customers can pay Sedalia Nursery to assist with temporary storage of live trees following the holiday season as well as spring planting of trees in customers’ yards.

As of press time, tree pricing information was not available, but can be found on The Ridge’s website: www.theridgecpn.com.

Elsewhere in CPN, trees can also be purchased at King Soopers.

“Our trees will be available just before Thanksgiving,” said King Soopers General Merchandise Manager Dave Berry. “They range in price from about $29 to about $59.”

Conventionally-cut trees can be recycled. For more information on how to arrange a curbside pickup of your tree by CPN’s Boy Scout Troop 316.
