Timber Team delivers a warm welcome to students and parents as they return to school from the long winter break.

Timber Trail Elementary (TTE) students were greeted with brightly printed posters and fellow students waving shining blue and gray pom poms as they returned to school after the long winter break. TTE Timber Team students showed their Timberwolves pride by welcoming students and families back to school.

Timber Team is a group of fourth and fifth graders who lead the students by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. The mission behind the group is to provide students with an opportunity to develop leadership skills.

Fourth graders Ari Griffin, Brooke Berry and Olivia Weick, along with other Timber Team members, give fellow classmates the Timberwolves welcome.

The spirit welcome was one of the many student-generated projects that the Timber Team has scheduled throughout the year. It was designed to promote a positive atmosphere and to get students excited about returning to school, in this case after the winter break. The Timber Team will also host the spirit welcome after spring break and also on the last day of school.
