Save the Music!
Castle Pines residents Molly Tanaka (pictured above center) and Zach Shadwick (pictured below) find the program a great opportunity to learn and enjoy playing music with friends.
The Castle Pines Arts & Cultural Foundation was pleased to host the “Save the Music!” event on February 9. In conjunction with the Colorado Chamber Orchestra’s Early Instrumental Music Education Program, the evening is geared toward showcasing young musicians and raising funds for elementary student music scholarships throughout Douglas County.
“It’s a very worthwhile cause that we are proud to support,” said CPACF Board Member Gaylynn Abram.
Thomas Blomster, music director and maestro of the Colorado Chamber Orchestra, introduced Emma Spears, a graduate of the program and child composer.
