Saddle Up for the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo August 5

For more than 65 years, the Douglas County Fair and Rodeo has attracted folks from far and wide to the Douglas County Fair Grounds. Rodeos, parades, carnival rides, and a home-town county feeling are sure to please the young and the young at heart.
Enjoy free admission to a variety of events, including 4-H rodeos, tractor pulls, bull riding and more. The kids will love the carnival rides, cotton candy, hot dogs and lemonade. Professionals join the fun late in the week to amaze those who purchase tickets to see their shows. On Saturday, August 12, the Douglas County Parade will take place as well as a professional rodeo – all followed by a concert performed by County music artist, Daryl Worely.
