After months of rigorous training, hard work, and unswerving competitive spirit, Rock Canyon High School’s Jaguars boys’ and girls’ varsity cross country runners earned the right to compete at the Colorado State Cross Country Championship. The Jaguars ran with 13 other high school teams in the Colorado 5A Region 5 Cross Country meet at Monument Valley Park in Colorado Springs. The meet was the season’s final one and a qualifier for teams hoping to go on to the state championship; only the top six teams in this division won the coveted state spots. Jaguar boys placed fourth and Jaguar girls placed fifth.
