Rock Canyon High School is Alive – With the Sound of Music!

The Performing Arts Department of Rock Canyon High School (RCHS) will present the classic Rogers and Hammerstein musical, The Sound Of Music, in March.

This is the first major musical to be staged at RCHS, and many faculty, professionals and students will be a part of this historic event. Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. on March 9, 10 and 11 at the school, located at 5810 McArthur Ranch Road in Highlands Ranch.

Reservations are not required, but seating is limited. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door. The cost is $10 for adults, $6 for students, and $5 for kids under 12. All ticket proceeds go toward offsetting production costs of the musical.

The Sound of Music is being directed by Ross Costanzo, with vocal direction under Annette Marsden. The technical director is Cindy Baker, and the show conductor is Rudy Royston. Over 60 talented students will participate—most in their first musical ever.

For additional information or to purchase tickets, call the RCHS Drama Department at 303-387-3160.
