Clark Wilhelm, Amy Tempel, and Kelly Kirkpatrick have been selected to present at the Successful Practices Network (SPN) Model Schools Conference in Nashville in July 2011.

The SPN is an active forum for schools to exchange research, ideas, best practices, and professional development resources. The SPN works to identify the best practices that are replicable and sustainable across the education community. They also conduct independent research with member schools to improve teaching and learning at the district and school levels.

Nine of Rocky Heights Middle School’s (RHMS) outstanding teachers submitted Gold Seal classroom lessons, which the SPN used as part of its criteria to choose its model schools.

“We are being recognized nationally for all the hard work which occurs on a daily basis at RHMS,” said Assistant Principal Kelly Kirkpatrick. “Our teachers, staff, students, and community should be proud of these
accomplishments!”
