Signs of spring are in the air – robins are singing, the days are longer and warmer, and the Red Hawk Ridge Ladies Golf Club (Ladies Club) is registering new members to join them in an exciting season of women’s golf.
The Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course is a public course located at 2156 Red Hawk Ridge Drive in Castle Rock. The 6,942-yard course, designed by award-winning golf course architect Jim Engh, features extreme elevation changes, abundant wildlife, rolling terrain, and dramatic vistas.
The Ladies Club membership meeting will be held March 15 at the Red Hawk Ridge Golf Club from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. All ladies age 18 and older interested in joining either a 9-hole, 18-hole, novice league and/or novice instruction league are invited to attend the 2011 membership meeting.
The Club was established in March 2002 to provide fun, fellowship, and golfing enjoyment for women in the community wanting to improve their own golf game, while increasing their understanding of USGA rules. The Ladies Club hosts numerous tournaments and special events, including its “Rally for the Cure Better Ball” 9-hole tournament to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
