Proud Coloradans happy to be in Hidden Pointe

Hidden Pointe residents Cindy and Brad Bryson met in Lakewood at Bear Creek High School and have been together since. “I knew he was the one when I first saw him; he was the new guy in school,” remembered Cindy. The couple even went to senior prom together.

“We are proud, life-long Coloradans (and Broncos fans),” stated Cindy, who grew up in Littleton; Brad grew up in Pueblo.

Brad went to UCLA and played football there and Cindy went to Loyola Marymount University, also in Los Angeles. After graduation, the couple moved back to Denver. Cindy began working and managing her family’s public auto auction business and Brad was self-employed, owning several car washes. They tied the knot in Breckenridge.

A business opportunity in 2001 moved their young family to Winston Salem, North Carolina, where they lived until 2010; it was then they decided it was time to move back home.

“Having our children attend school in Douglas County was first and foremost in our house-hunting criteria, and Castle Pines was without a doubt the most beautiful and family-friendly community we could have hoped for,” Cindy stated.

The Brysons raised three children who matriculated through Timber Trail Elementary, Rocky Heights Middle School and Rock Canyon High School.

“We enjoyed many years of school events and countless days cheering on our basketball and football Jags!” added Cindy.

Paul (27) attended CU Boulder and graduated with a degree in molecular biology. Joe (25) played football at the University of Southern California and the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, graduating with a degree in communications and an MBA respectively. The youngest, Abby (23), graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in elementary education.

The family has a “beloved” Anatolian shepherd, Amore, who is 12.

Today, Brad is the plant health care manager for a local tree service and also an independent licensed mortgage broker. He loves golfing and anything outdoors.

Cindy works at the Castle Pines Postal Center & Wild Rose boutique. “It is a happy place that serves our wonderful, eclectic community,” shared Cindy. “Helping send a package usually evolves into a fun conversation with customers that then become cherished faces I see weekly!”

Cindy reflected that she has enjoyed the many friendships made throughout the years in the community via kids school and sports activities, a book club and a bible study group. Concluding that her neighborhood is still a “gem,” Cindy said that the view from her deck “never disappoints, no matter the season.”

“We have a family of deer that return to our backyard each spring with their new fawns reminding us just how much they, and we, love our home in Castle Pines!”
