Local Castle Pines North (CPN) business owner and author Dr. Bryan Rudiak held a book signing at the Castle Pines Library May 16. As part of the Colorado Author Series, Rudiak discussed his book, “Embrace the Healthy You: Wellness from the Inside Out.”
“I wrote this book to reach out to the residents in my community who are looking to improve the quality of their lives and want to reach a higher standard of health and wellness,” said Rudiak, a practicing chiropractor.
“My book is basically a self-help guide to everything involved in true health and wellness. It covers a variety of topics including: chiropractic care, diet and nutrition, stress management, exercise and stretching, meditation, custom foot orthotics, weight loss/detoxification and setting goals to adopt a healthy lifestyle,” he said.
“Health is one of our most important assets and we need to take it seriously, ” Rudiak stresses. “It is the steps we take today that will dictate the quality of life we will either enjoy or not enjoy down the road. I want to see more people enjoying life instead of suffering through it,” Rudiak continued.
When asked to suggest a few health measures he feels could improve a person’s health, Rudiak explained that it is extremely important to make sure the nervous system is operating at optimum efficiency.
“If the nervous system is not working properly it can affect a person in many negative ways. Also, over time, make healthy choices in your diet and drink water!” emphasized Rudiak.
Rudiak was on the committee of CPN residents who were instrumental in making the new CPN library a reality. “I decided then, that when my book was published, I was going to have a book signing and donate the proceeds to the library. It is important to me to support our library,” he said.
In addition to running his business, Canyon Ridge Chiropractic, Rudiak is busy with his two small daughters, Chloe and Chelsea. His wife, Angie, is a registered dietitian specializing in kidney disease who works at a dialysis center. He is also the team chiropractor for Green Mountain Sports Cycling Team.
As an active member of the CPN Chamber of Commerce, he is a member of the “leads group” that helps fellow members job network. His office is located by the King Soopers store in CPN.
Rudiak is dedicated to education – health, wellness and overall lifelong learning – and an advocate for the CPN community and Douglas County Libraries. He is an example of how one person can make a difference in the community.
