Project Easter Basket had another successful year thanks in part to the generosity of many Castle Pines residents. Organizer Stacy Gaines is a Castle Pines Village resident who began this endeavor eight years ago in an effort to provide Easter baskets full of hygiene items, school supplies, and goodies to homeless children throughout the metro area.
This year, Gaines and her supporters delivered 262 Easter baskets to Inner City Parish. Gaines remarked, “The generosity of the Castle Pines community never ceases to amaze me. Each year the neighborhood supplies hygiene items, school supplies and Easter goodies to children in need. I imagine there were tons of smiling faces on Easter Sunday.”
