Pino’s 9/11 fundraiser tradition
The seventh annual 9/11 Eat for a Cause community fundraiser was held at Pino’s Italian Kitchen & Bar. All monies raised went to the OneGoat Foundation, a nonprofit that helps first responders fill a funding gap when they are injured on the job.
More than $4,000 was raised from a percentage of proceeds of restaurant sales. Several local vendors contributed to the event. Golden Flame Hot Wings, Nick Ainsworth – State Farm Insurance and Duke’s Steakhouse donated gift cards for the silent auction and Bliss Bouquet Bar created the red, white and blue floral arrangements for the tables’ centerpieces, while Alora Event Design affixed balloons around the restaurant.
Pino’s was at full capacity and patrons enjoyed prix fixe courses from the new menu.
“We were pleased to continue this tradition and raise awareness for this wonderful charity and the great things it does,” said new owner and manager Dimas Asevedo. “We want to be a part of the Castle Pines community.”
