Peace, Love and Happiness Discovered at Car Show

Above the Clouds VW/Porsche car show rolled into Castle Pines on a spectacular Saturday morning in June. The first-time event showcased 22 vintage cars in an array of colors. Event organizer and Castle Pines resident Abe Aragon produced the show with the assistance of Berg Haus owner Bruce Ringgenberg and the generous support of many other local businesses.

Classics and collectibles were on display throughout the parking lot. The vehicle owners enjoyed sharing stories about their lovingly maintained and restored cars with delighted showgoers. The Itasha Car Club stopped by to enjoy the event and display a few of their anime-themed cars too. Participants and attendees voted for their favorite classic car in the categories of Best of Show, Most Original and Most Tricked Out. Raffle prizes were distributed throughout the event and the winners received their awards and gift certificates to a round of cheers and applause.

“I just wanted to share the joy and happiness of a VW car show with the Castle Pines community,” said Aragon, who hopes to make the car show an annual event.
