NFL Flag football championships
Neighborhood families and kids took the field at Elk Ridge Park on May 21 to cheer qualifying teams on during the Super Bowl championship. All season games were refereed by Rock Canyon High School students and community residents who once themselves played sports with Castle Pines Athletics. The first/ second grade Bears (upper left), the third/fourth grade Panthers (upper right) and the fifth/sixth grade Patriots (lower left) took home the spring 2023 championship title. “Seeing the growth, development and confidence build in the kids over the seasons has been exciting to watch,” said Chris Beach, a resident who, along with his wife, enjoyed the season watching all four of their kids play NFL FLAG football.
