New Steakhouse Opens in Castle Pines Village
Jimmy and Lasinda Crane

Jimmy’s Steakhouse, formerly Chutney’s in Castle Pines Village, opened with style in November. The restaurant has changed ownership and is now offering casual dining with an upscale feel, according to Restaurant Coordinator Lasinda Crane.
“Kannan Alagappan [the building owner] wanted to expand the menu and change things up a bit,” said Crane. “We will be serving amazing steaks, including filets, sirloin, porterhouse, strip, and bone–in; something most people aren’t used to seeing. The bone-in adds so much to the flavor and juiciness of the steak,” she added. According to Crane, Jimmy’s Steakhouse will also be offering some of the Indian favorites from the previous menu, in addition to appetizers and desserts that are something to remember.
Jimmy’s Steakhouse is a family affair, with Jimmy and Lasinda Crane at the helm. Jimmy brings more than 15 years of experience in the restaurant business to the table, including time with Bahama Breeze, PF Changs and beginnings in pizza and pasta.
Jimmy’s Steakhouse is located at 660 Happy Canyon Road, Suite 150. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. They will be open for lunch in mid-December, with anticipated lunch hours of Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (dinner until close). Live entertainment will be provided in the bar Thursday through Saturday.
