New Signal to Improve Safety at Major CPN Intersection
As of press time, the new traffic signal at Castle Pines Parkway and Yorkshire Drive was being installed.
In early 2005, construction began on the long-awaited traffic signal. Upon completion, the new traffic signal will feature video detection to trigger the left turn lane, as well as a countdown timer for safer pedestrian traffic.
Special thanks to Janet Conner and members of the CPN Safety Committee who worked for years to help improve this dangerous intersection for the community.
