Looking for somewhere to go to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day? As luck would have it, a new bar/restaurant is opening in Castle Pines North, and just in time to celebrate the first green of spring.
Don your shamrocks and meet your new neighbors at The Barking Goat Tavern, located at 363 Village Square Lane in the former Celtic Crossing location, at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17. Yes, eight in the morning!
According to Barking Goat owner Eric Warner, most pubs open early on St. Patrick’s Day and close at midnight. “We’ll open early but stay open to 2 a.m. if the crowds want us to,” he said.
Admission at the door is $12 and includes an all you can eat Irish buffet and two beer tokens. “Expect good food, live music and a fun time,” said Warner. A brewmaster trained in Germany, Warner says not to expect any green beer; “Beer should be treated with respect!”
Warner hopes to open his doors for business as early as this weekend in preparation for the big day. Call 303-663-6644 for more information.
