New clubhouse with restaurant open in The Canyons
Canyon House Kitchen + Cocktails is a new bar and restaurant that is opening to the general public as part of a new private clubhouse in The Canyons development.
Residents of The Canyons neighborhood in the City of Castle Pines now have a new place to gather, socialize and engage in a variety of activities in the neighborhood. A new clubhouse, The Canyon House, is now open and features a range of amenities that cater to all ages, including a full-service restaurant, gym, movement studio and rentable flex space for both adults and children.
“We’re providing an opportunity for residents to never have to leave the neighborhood,” said Joey Sanders, general manager of BlueStar Resort & Golf, the manager of the clubhouse. “Canyons residents now have everything they need without getting back out on to Hess Road.”
A fully equipped fitness area offers residents the chance to work out close to home, with cardio machines, free weights and space for group fitness classes. There are two areas for residents and community organizations to gather, and a dedicated kids space complete with foosball and ping pong tables.
The concept of a clubhouse has been on the master plan since the beginning of The Canyons development. Located adjacent to the swimming pool, the new venue will have an impact on the local economy, with more than 20 new positions ranging from food and beverage to fitness and customer service staff.
In addition to the resident-only clubhouse, there is a new restaurant open to the general public. Canyon House Kitchen + Cocktails features an indoor space to accommodate 80 people. Additional seating is available on the covered patio, where guests can enjoy a view of Rueter-Hess Reservoir. The menu offers American fare, burgers, pizza, steak and fish entrees. The executive chef, Greg Kunter, has been the chef at The Exchange Coffee House (also a property of BlueStar) and has extensive culinary experience.
“Opening a restaurant and a clubhouse is always fun,” said Joey. It is hard work, no doubt,” he admitted. “Every one of us is amped up and ready to go.”
Located at 1419 Westbridge Drive, Canyon House Kitchen + Cocktails is available by reservation only through OpenTable and will not be fully open to the general public until after the first of the year. For additional information, visit thecanyonsliving.com.
