Construction in CPN resumes
Village Homes is building and selling new homes again in The Crossings at Castle Pines North with the help of two real estate powerhouses, Homebuilder Capital Solutions and Lowe Enterprises.
In December 2009, Homebuilder Capital Solutions, an affiliate of Colorado & Santa Fe Real Estate, in a joint venture with Lowe Enterprises, acquired approximately two-thirds of Village Homes’ assets, including 57 partially completed or completed homes, 506 finished lots, 444 unfinished lots and 3.7 acres of undeveloped land.
Oak Hills resident Eric Eckberg is senior vice president for Lowe Enterprises which will serve as the managing partner. Buffalo Ridge homeowner Peter Benson, senior vice president of community development, will oversee community development, land acquisitions and land sales for Village Homes.
The combined entity also acquired the highly regarded Village Homes brand, home plans, field equipment and sales offices. The new company will operate under the Village Homes’ name because of its strong brand equity.
The new Village Homes will complete and sell homes in five of the most desirable and best located communities in Colorado, including Castle Pines North.
As the real estate market continues to improve, the company will also pursue opportunities to expand into other new communities along the front range.
The Crossings at Castle Pines North is now selling new home construction for its low-maintenance townhomes and patio homes, ranging from the $230s to the $350s, with several homes available now.
