Development activity continues at a feverish pace in the Castle Pines and Castle Rock areas, and a popular burger joint is among those slated for completion in the coming months.
In-N-Out Burger, an Irvine, California-based chain whose few Colorado locations have stirred curiosity and appetites, is in the final stages of construction on the southeast quadrant of Factory Shops Boulevard and Atrium Way. In-N-Out is currently working on its traffic management plan, and the 3,879- square-foot building is scheduled to open in early 2022. The company also submitted a preliminary site plan for a 3,000-square-foot eatery on the southwest corner of Pine Lane and Parker Road in Parker.
Across the highway and perched high on a hillside about a quarter-mile north of Home Depot is BridgeWater Living, a senior care facility that specializes in rehabilitation and nursing services. Although the Town of Castle Rock often receives inquiries about the construction, it is actually in unincorporated Douglas County.
Peter DeMangus, chief marketing officer for Solterra, the developer of BridgeWater, said the first residents will move in during the third quarter of 2022.
Also coming to the area of the Promenade is Shake Shack, which will open west of Whole Foods in 2022; Texas Roadhouse, which will open a 7,800-square-foot restaurant north of Sam’s Club in late 2022 or 2023; and The Famous Steak House, a restaurant that will move into the former Jarre Creek Brewery building south of Chili’s. The company, which has a location in Colorado Springs, has submitted a site development plan and is planning an interior building renovation.
