MiYO Celebrates 10-year anniversary with a discount

Donna and Gary Stern are celebrating 10 years of ownership and growth of the wildly popular MiYO Café in the Village Shops. They are pictured left circa 2013 when they purchased the dining establishment.

Much has changed in the 10 years since Donna and Gary Stern purchased MiYO (Make it Your Own) breakfast and lunch eatery in The Village at Castle Pines.

Donna and Gary Stern last year at a family wedding in Taos, New Mexico – a rare four-day vacation for the couple.

MiYO recently completed a major kitchen renovation to accommodate the additional demand from their 2020 dining room expansion. Interior seating capacity grew from 25 to 70 (with an additional 45 seats outside).

One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the great food and friendly family feel you get every trip to MiYO. You can’t visit without seeing a familiar face – including Sergio in the kitchen and Shelly out front, both of whom have been with MiYO since the Sterns purchased it.

As a thank you for the community’s support over the years and to commemorate their 10-year anniversary, MiYO is offering a 10% discount on Wednesday, April 12 and Thursday, April 13 to anyone who mentions this article in The Castle Pines Connection.

MiYO is a fast and casual, order-at-the-register eatery serving breakfast and lunch daily until 2 p.m. To learn more, visit miyocafe.com.
