Metro District endorses City’s ballot measure

The Castle Pines North Metro District (CPNMD) Board of Directors signed Resolution No. 2023-10-01 in October, supporting a “yes” vote on the City of Castle Pines Ballot Measure 2F for the upcoming November 7 regular election.  The ballot measure authorizes an ad valorem property tax of 12 mills for park, recreation and trailhead open space improvements and maintenance – operations previously managed by CPNMD.

“The Board is in favor of Ballot Measure 2F and encourages electors to vote YES,” according to the resolution.  “The Board supports this ballot measure and believes it to be in the best interests of the District and the community, resulting in lower taxes and more efficient parks, recreation and open space services.”
