Rolling Thunder Comes to Castle Rock

The national non-profit veterans’ motorcycle club Rolling Thunder will be hosting “Salute to America’s POWs” in honor of POWs from past and present wars.

The event will be held on Saturday, May 15 at noon, at Festival Park (2nd Street between Wilcox and Perry) in Castle Rock. Rolling Thunder has more than 88 chartered chapters throughout the United States and members abroad. Its membership consists of veterans and non-veterans, men and women, young and old, many of whom ride motorcycles.

All of its members are united in the cause to bring full accountability for POWs and MIAs of all wars, and whose mission it is to remind the government, the media, and the public by their watchwords: “We Will Not Forget.” The organization also provides assistance to veterans and homeless veterans.
