Low Voter Turnout in May 2 Election

With only a six percent voter turnout on May 2, the Metro District Board election proved to have one of the lowest numbers of participants in CPN’s history. Out of a total of 5,644 residents eligible to vote, only 309 found the time to make it to the polls to elect new board members. Thirty-nine residents also mailed in absentee ballots.
