Local optometrist elected to Board of Trustees
Jason Ortman, O.D., a Castle Pines optometrist, has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Colorado Optometric Association Board of Trustees.
Dr. Ortman graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry where he received the Corning Low Vision Award for excellence in low vision care and served as President of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Fraternity.
Since coming to Colorado in 2000, Dr. Ortman has been active in three charity programs: Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, the Gift of Sight Foundation, and Optometry Giving Sight. He is also a board member of the Douglas County Kiwanis and the Castle Pines Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Ortman practices at Castle Pines Eye Care, located at 7437 Village Square Drive in Castle Pines North where his practice concentrates on general and pediatric eye care, contact lens management, and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. He and his spouse, Lisa, have two children.
