For 15 years, Dr. Jon Sierk has been providing dental care for children of all ages in Highlands Ranch. Some of his patients live in surroundings areas, so he recently expanded his practice, Sierk Children’s Dentistry, to Castle Pines.
“I really enjoy the area, the people, and there is a lot of growth,” said Dr. Sierk, “I have patients who live in Parker, Castle Rock, and Castle Pines. I thought it was a great opportunity for me to provide a service that’s a little bit easier for them to get to.”
The rural small-town feel of Castle Pines reminds Sierk of his small-town roots in Bettendorf, Iowa. “I love my location in Highlands Ranch, but I like the area in Castle Pines because it feels more like a smaller community,” said Sierk.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, and then moved back to Iowa to attend the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Sierk is proud to follow his father and older brother in the dental profession. His father, Don, has been an orthodontist in Iowa for 45 years. His brother, Chris, practices orthodontics in Oregon.
“Pediatric dentistry came easy to me,” recalls Sierk, “It’s a combination of the dental field and working with kids like my mom did as a teacher.”
The pediatric dentist prides himself on providing personalized care to his patients. He likes getting to know each child and talking about something going on in their lives.
“We go out of our way to make patients and parents feel welcome. We want to treat every patient like they’re our own child,” commented Sierk, “I try to make a connection with each child at the appropriate level for their age so that they get a sense that we care beyond the nuts and bolts of dental care.”
Sierk and his wife, Stacey, enjoy hiking in the Colorado outdoors, traveling and spoiling their nieces and nephew. He also enjoys reading, golfing and relaxing during his time off.
Sierk Children’s Dentistry is in the Village Square at Castle Pines Parkway sharing office space with Orthodontist Dr. Brandon Linn. “I’ve known him (Dr. Linn) for many years. The fit is really great,” concluded Sierk.
The office is located at 361 Village Square Lane, Suite 100 in the City of Castle Pines.
